1. Dr. Ammu Rosin Jose joined the department of chemistry on 2020. She recieved her Ph.D from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala in 2018 in Analytical chemistry under the guidance of Prof. K. Girish Kumar. Thesis: Voltammetric And Fluorescence Sensors for Food Colorant, Pharmaceuticals and Biomolecules. She was a guest faculty in the college from 2018 to 2020 in the department of chemistry.

Dr. Ammu is passonate about teaching and research. She has several international publications and have presented in several national and international conferences. Her research interest include development of Voltammetric and fluorescence chemical sensor development, synthesis and characterization Quantum dot (QD) and nanoparticles, conjugation of proteins on surfaces of nanoparticles etc.

Her vision is to equip students to understand beyond the seen; as Erwin Schrodinger said,  ‘The task is not to see what has never been seen before, but to think what has never been thought before about what you see everyday.
